After the season opener against East Carolina University the ladies mean green went back to basic fundamentals and prepared for their match against College of Charleston. Mean Green headed to South Carolina and met the team on their own pitch for a matrix match to see who would continue onto the road to playoffs. Mean green played well as they had the following week but it was C of C who ended up the winner with a final score of 95-5. Despite the loss it the ladies of Mean Green were admit about giving their all until the final whistle blew. It was a hard loss but the team is back at practice harder than before to prepare for their third game against Appalachian State University Women's Rugby.
