The ladies mean green got a sweet surprise when it was announced that the match against AHO would be played on the home pitch. Kickoff against AHO was at 10 am and although Mean Green was was still fighting sleep at kickoff they still managed to pull out a win. AHO put up a good fight but mean green lead a strong pack heavy game with junior 8 man  Destiny Simmons making the final try making the final score 24-20.  Despite the close score the game play was anything but, both mean green and AHO played a strong game with both teams pack players putting in serious work! Going into the new week mean green is working on strengthening fundamentals and start a winning streak to as they get into the thicket of their season. Stay tuned for the upcoming game, mean green will be heading to Cullowhee to take on Western Carolina University.
