Spring Break
Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 9:27AM While most of the team is enjoying their spring break, two of our players have the honor of going to the U20 National Women's Team Tryouts in Florida.
Fullback, Courtney Jessamy and wing, Meghan Sydney have worked hard all year learning the game of rugby, this weekend their knowledge and skill will be put to the test.
The U20 Eagles is comprised of the best players from across the country, and this year will host the Women's U20 Nations Cup. The Eagles finished fourth in 2007 and second in 2009 in this event.
While making the team is a prestigious honor, the invitation to tryouts is just as amazing. Over 60 ladies are in Cocoa FL right now playing their hearts out. The experience of the event alone is worth the trip. We wish Courtney and Meghan the best of luck!
