Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 10:30AM UNCC Women's Rubgy will host James Madison University for a 1pm kick-off on the recreational fields of the UNCC campus. JMU is a Division I school in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and we are excited to have them make the trip down! JMU will be a worthy oppenent as they have consistently participated in the Virginia Division I Rugby Union and qualified for Nationals.

Being undefeated for 6 months can sometimes lead a team into believing they are unbeatable. UNCC Women's Rugby thanks JMU for making the trip to teach us that there are better teams out there and we have to play our best game.
Saturday's game was one worth watching. Both teams played their A game to the very last minute, and no one wanted it to end. Every try was hard fought on both sides of the field. In the end the score reflected the work. 22-22.
